Kimoya completed her undergraduate degree at the University of West Indies in Jamaica in 2011. Since graduating she has worked in various practice setting: private, home health and acute care hospital. In 2018 she completed her post professional doctor of physiotherapy from Utica college in New York. In 2022 she started practicing in Canada in private practice focusing on musculoskeletal injuries and rehabilitation. She believes in a holistic, patient-centered approach, focusing on understanding each individual’s unique needs. She uses a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities and patient education to facilitate effective and sustainable recovery. She is experienced with working with a variety of conditions: MVA related, post fracture management and degenerative disorders. She has a passion for degenerative disorders such as osteoarthritis and women’s health. She is currently pursuing a course in pelvic health therapy.
